Kore Cares Featured on KELOLAND Living!

Kore Cares recently had the opportunity to be featured on KELOLAND Living, where our team shared helpful insights for individuals and families exploring home care options. The segment focused on who we are, the services we provide, and how families can feel confident when choosing a home care agency.

Who We Are & How We Help

During the segment, Gabrielle Hoing, CEO of Kore Cares discussed the services Kore Cares provides to our clients and our mission of providing compassionate, individualized care that helps people remain safe and independent in the place they call home. She discussed the wide range of services we offer, including assistance with daily living such as personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. These services are customized to meet each individual’s needs.

In addition to non-medical home care, Gabrielle also highlighted our nursing services, which include medication set-up and management, wound care, vital sign monitoring, nail care, and health assessments. She also touched on emergency response systems, such as wearable bracelets or pendants with fall detection and GPS, offering added peace of mind for clients and their families.

Our Growing Service Area

Another exciting update shared on KELOLAND Living was the expansion of our service area. Kore Cares continues to grow to meet the needs of more communities, now serving additional areas including Watertown and Brookings. This expansion allows us to support even more individuals and families across South Dakota with the same trusted level of care.

What to Ask When Choosing a Home Care Agency

With many home care agencies opening throughout the region, Gabrielle emphasized the importance of asking thoughtful questions when selecting a provider. Beyond services offered, families should take time to get to know the agency and the people behind the care.

Some of the questions discussed included:

  • What is the agency’s mission, and how did the company get started?

  • Who owns the company?

  • Why are team members passionate about their work?

  • What training and ongoing professional development do caregivers receive?

  • How does the agency attract and retain quality staff?

  • What processes are in place to ensure quality care?

  • Has the agency received any awards or recognition?

  • Are client or staff testimonials available?

Getting to Know the Kore Cares Team

Gabrielle also shared several ways the community can get to know Kore Cares beyond the television segment. Testimonials and Google reviews are available on our website, and we’ve recently been featured on Spotlight Sioux Falls with both a client and a team member. Kore Cares has also welcomed team members and clients on KELOLAND Living in the past, offering real-life perspectives on home care.

Families are always encouraged to meet with our administrative team, and we proudly offer free in-home consultations to help determine the right care plan.

Join Us at Our Yankton Open House

To continue connecting with the community, Kore Cares is hosting an open house at our Yankton location on January 7 from 1:00–4:00 PM. This informal event is a great opportunity to meet the team, ask questions, and learn more about our services in a relaxed setting. We are always happy to meet people where they feel most comfortable—whether that’s at our office or in their own home.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our story on KELOLAND Living and appreciate everyone who continues to support Kore Cares. If you missed the segment or would like to learn more, we invite you to connect with us, explore our resources, or stop by our Yankton open house.
