In-home nursing positions providing one-on-one care to clients who wish to live independently at home. Kore Cares is hiring part-time nurses in the Sioux Falls area! This job is perfect for a nurse looking for supplemental income or a nurse looking for fulfilling part-time hours.

Duties Include - But Are Not limited to:

• Assesses the full scope of patient needs using the nursing process on a continuous basis

• Observes signs and symptoms and reports changes in the patient's condition to the physician and/or other appropriate healthcare professionals

• Provides teaching to client and client family members

• Delegates tasks to other Kore Cares personnel in accordance with the South Dakota Nurse Practice Act

• Uses knowledge and judgment needed to meet the nursing needs of the patient

• Nursing tasks may include (but are not limited to): wound dressing, medication setup, monitor medication compliance, assess vital signs, assess skin condition, assess nutritional status, assess mobility, assess usage of glucometer, toe/fingernail care, catheter care, assess health, provide teaching/health education, communicate with physician and pharmacist, blood draws

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience, preferred

• Must have active Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN in the state of SD

• Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English

• Must have reliable transportation and current, valid driver’s license

• Proof of automobile insurance
