Supporting Caregivers Where They Are: Monthly Virtual Caregiver Support Sessions

Supporting Caregivers Where They Are: Monthly Virtual Caregiver Support Sessions

Caring for a loved one at home is truly an act of love – however, it can also be overwhelming. Many family caregivers find themselves unsure of what resources exist, when to use them, or how to navigate the many options that exist. Often, family caregivers receive stacks of information but very little clarity of what to do next or what steps to take.

To help bridge the gap, Kore Cares and Avera@Home have partnered to offer monthly virtual caregiver support sessions, intended to meet caregivers where they are.

A Bridge Between Information and Action

These virtual sessions can be valuable for families caring for someone who may not yet be ready for in-home services or hospice services – but still need support, education, and guidance. The goal is simple: help caregivers move from uncertainty to confidence.

During each session, caregivers will:

  • Learn more about available caregiver and community resources

  • Understand when and how to access different types of support

  • Connect with programs, like Kore Cares, that provide personalized guidance

  • Ask questions during a live Q&A with knowledgeable professionals

Rather than feeling alone or unsure, caregivers have the ability to ask questions and leave with a better understanding of the support available to them.
