What sets Kore Cares Management Team Apart

One of the things that sets the Kore Cares management team apart from the rest is the fact that everyone on our management team has worked as a caregiver. Some of us have been family caregivers, some of us professional caregivers, and some of us both. We believe this makes us a unique team to work for as we can easily relate to our caregivers and see things from their perspective. We know what it is like to provide hands-on care and can relate to our staff.

Meet our team and hear about their experiences:

  • Gabby, Director – Gabby currently oversees the agency’s overall operations and provides strategic direction for the agency. She started her career in health care as a certified nursing assistant in high school. In college, she was looking for a part-time job and a friend convinced her to apply at a local home care agency and the rest is history. She has been working in home care most of her career and loves that we can take our time getting to know our clients. To see Gabby’s complete bio click here.

  • Haley, Manager of Community Relations – Haley is currently in charge of marketing and sales and human resource duties. Before taking a leadership position at Kore Cares she worked as a home care caregiver. She did not have any formal training in health care before becoming a home care caregiver and was able to learn what she needed on the job. She learned how to use hoyer lifts, stand aides, give showers, empty catheter and ostomy bags, and a variety of other important duties. Not having any formal training and taking on the job as a home care caregiver gives her great perspective when hiring and training caregivers who might have the heart for caring but not the training. • Kara, Managers of Operations – Kara is currently in charge of daily operations at Kore Cares which includes scheduling, billing, and payroll. Before taking a manager position at Kore Cares Kara worked as a certified nursing assistant in a nursing home. She has also been a family caregiver as she took care of her father-in-law in her home. Kara’s experience as both a professional caregiver and a family caregiver gives her valuable insight. She can easily relate to what families are going through but also relate to Kore Care’s caregivers’ needs. To see Kara’s complete bio click here.

  • Tonya, Caregiver Support Specialist – Tonya’s main responsibility includes ensuring caregivers have the training and support needed to be successful. Before this role, Tonya worked as a certified nursing assistant and has also worked as a home care caregiver. She has cared for clients with a variety of illnesses and levels of care and is well versed in proper care techniques. Her hands-on experience not only makes her a great trainer but also helps provide insight into what the caregiver might need to be successful.

At Kore Cares we truly care about our employees and want to ensure they succeed. We feel if we give caregivers the proper training, support, and resources they will provide excellent care to our clients. To learn more about career opportunities click here.
