Mandy - Pierre Support Specialist

I started in healthcare as a CNA at a nursing home almost 7 years ago. The bonds and connections you make with the residents and their families is such a rewarding and special gift to experience. I have always loved helping/caring for others but my time as a CNA taught me what true compassion looks like and how a simple “hello” can change a person’s whole day. My time as CNA changed my life and reignited my passion of caring for others. I went back to college and became and LPN 2 years ago. When I came across Kore Cares I was captivated by the company’s motto and values and wanted to be a part of it.

I was offered the opportunity to take the support specialist position with Kore Cares at the Pierre satellite location while also doing nursing shifts for them. I believe that people are more comfortable at home and being able to provide the opportunity for them to stay there as long as possible is very important. I have enjoyed getting to be a part of and learn from such a supportive and amazing team. I look forward to what the future holds for Kore Cares and getting to be apart of helping it grow.
