Kelsey - Support Specialist

I began working in the healthcare field at the age of 16 as a CNA in a nursing home and quickly discovered how much I loved caring for others. After high school, I continued my career in a group home as a Direct Support Professional, supporting individuals with disabilities. An opportunity later opened to become a Program Supervisor for In-Home Services, where I was responsible for staff scheduling, training, and providing direct care. I remained in this role for several years, gaining valuable leadership and hands-on experience.

After relocating to South Dakota in 2024, I knew I wanted to continue working in in-home services, which led me to Kore Cares. I started as a caregiver and immediately fell in love with the one-on-one care and the meaningful relationships built with clients. When I learned of the opening for the Support Specialist position, I was excited to apply, as it aligns perfectly with my experience, skills, and passion for supporting both clients and staff.
